How is communication from the Wyoming Chamber of Commerce managed?

The Wyoming Chamber of Commerce has two different communication options into this program from which local, county and regional chambers may choose:
Direct to Member (preferred): The Wyoming Chamber of Commerce is responsible for sending communications directly to members.
Direct to Local Chamber: The local chamber will be responsible for forwarding State Chamber communications received to business members. The local chamber agrees that time-sensitive information and materials will be passed along to members in time for prescribed action to be taken.

Will members be prospected by the Wyoming Chamber of Commerce?

The Wyoming Chamber of Commerce membership list will not be used by staff as prospect lists. Investment opportunities in the Wyoming Chamber of Commerce will only be shared by the request of the Chamber Partner.

Question 3

Can my business members serve on the Wyoming Chamber of Commerce Policy Committee?

Accepted Answer

No. Only the leadership of the Wyoming Chamber of Commerce and/or Local Chambers, including the Board of Directors and Key Staff, are permitted to serve on this committee.

Why must I sign an agreement to be a Wyoming Chamber of Commerce Partner?

The agreement allows for proper record keeping needed by the Wyoming Chamber of Commerce to accurately record which local Chambers have chosen to participate along with a traceable count of Wyoming Chamber of Commerce individual members.

What information is distributed from the Wyoming Chamber of Commerce to its membership?

Accepted Answer

The Wyoming Chamber of Commerce is sensitive to the amount of information that will be sent to members and understands this will be in addition to information they receive from their local Chamber. As with any communication schedule, this is subject to change, but routine communication would consist of the following:
Weekly Legislative Update email during the legislative session
Communication highlighting upcoming policy events and programs
As needed: legislative “Call to Action” announcements, policy workshop invitations, and surveys/polls
