Wyoming Chamber Leads Effort to Prepare Students for Tomorrow’s Workforce

ree

Your Wyoming Chamber of Commerce is proud to help lead a nationwide initiative equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and mindset to thrive in today’s fast-paced economy. Central to this effort is the new Advanced Placement (AP) Business with Personal Finance course, launching in the 2026–27 school year, which combines project-based learning, real-world case studies, and an industry-recognized credential to prepare students for both college and career.

Through a partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, AP College Board, and local organizations, including the Wyoming Department of Education, we’re rolling out Connecting Industry & Education, a statewide roadshow designed to align education with Wyoming’s workforce needs. The course will give students foundational business knowledge, insights into market dynamics, and essential personal finance skills, preparing them for success and signaling to employers that they are workforce-ready from day one.
