Wyoming’s Economic Outlook: Your Take on 2025

Writer: Wyoming Chamber TeamWyoming Chamber Team

As Wyoming heads into 2025, residents are placing their bets on healthcare and education, with 59% of poll respondents believing these sectors will have the biggest impact on the state’s economy. Energy and mining followed at 16%. This focus highlights a shift toward industries tied to workforce development and long-term growth.

However, opinions on Wyoming’s current economic state are mixed. 41% believe the economy is worse off than last year, while 28% think it’s better, and 26% feel it’s about the same. This shows lingering concerns about economic stability despite optimism for key sectors.

When asked where Wyoming should focus to strengthen its economy, 61% pointed to expanding healthcare services, followed by supporting small businesses (22%) and investing in education and workforce training (11%). Clearly, healthcare isn’t just about well-being—it’s seen as a crucial economic driver.

As always, your Wyoming Chamber of Commerce is working to support the industries you believe matter most, pushing for policies that build a stronger, more resilient Wyoming.
