Employer Provided Innovation Challenges

Wyoming Chamber of Commerce - EPIC Partner

We're proud to partner with the U.S. Chamber Foundation's EPIC Program to connect Wyoming student with real-world, employer-driven projects that build career readiness.

What is EPIC?

EPIC (Employer Provided Innovation Challenges) is a nationally backed, project-based learning approach. It engages high school and postsecondary students with authentic challenges created by local employers, so students learn by doing, and businesses get fresh insights and future talent.

Why We Joined

Wyoming businesses need skilled, work-ready talent. Wyoming students need meaningful paths into careers. EPIC scales project-based learning so more students can gain credentialed, real-world experience that supports career awareness, exploration, and upskilling. That leads to stronger talent pipelines and more equitable access to opportunities.

How EPIC Benefits Wyoming

  • Authentic, work-based challenges that prepare students or the real world

  • Scalable design that can be deployed across school and communities

  • A chance for local employers to mentor, shape, and recruit emerging talent

How You Can Get Involved

The Wyoming Chamber is leading the EPIC effort across the state. Here's how different groups can participate:

  • Employers: Sponsor a challenge. Pose a real business problem and work side-by-side with student teams to find solutions.

  • Chambers: Connect employers, school partners, and students in your region.

  • Schools and Workforce Programs: Enroll learners in EPIC challenges to deepen career readiness and build skills in demand industies.
