How the U.S. is Building a Bold Future in AI and Digital Assets

ree

The future of business isn’t 5 or 10 years away, it’s here. And thanks to recent federal action, the U.S. is positioning itself at the forefront of two of the most transformative forces in the global economy: artificial intelligence and digital assets.

With the release of a national AI Action Plan and the passage of the GENIUS Act, spearheaded by Wyoming’s very own Senator Lummis, we are sending a clear message that America is ready to lead in a digital age.

Innovation Loves Smart Strategy

Artificial intelligence has the power to reshape everything, from logistics and manufacturing to customer service, healthcare, and small business operations. But here’s the catch: for AI to thrive, it needs the right environment. And that’s exactly what this action plan aims to create.

Highlights include:

  • Asking businesses and the public for input on regulations that may hinder innovation

  • Reviewing and revising outdated policies that slow AI deployment

  • Factoring in state regulatory environments when awarding federal support, rewarding forward-thinking states

  • Ensuring that oversight by agencies like the FTC doesn’t unintentionally derail new technologies

The GENIUS Act

Why does this legislation matter to businesses? In a word: confidence. By setting clear rules, ensuring strong reserves, and protecting consumers, the GENIUS Act helps unlock trust and investment in the digital asset space. Some of the GENIUS Act’s most business-forward features are:

  • Requires stablecoin issuers to hold 100% reserves in dollars or U.S. Treasuries

  • Promotes transparency with monthly public reports

  • Aligns federal and state regulations, avoiding a confusing patchwork of rules

  • Supports national security and financial integrity by applying existing anti-money laundering standards

  • Gives U.S. businesses the certainty they need to innovate, invest, and scale in a secure digital environment

WY It Matters

These policy efforts reflect a broader truth: businesses thrive when there’s clarity, consistency, and a commitment to progress. The AI Action Plan and GENIUS Act are about more than technology, they’re about building an economy that encourages risk-taking, celebrates invention, and invites the world’s best and brightest to invest right here in the United States.

For Wyoming’s business community, the path is clear: lean in, think big, and get ready to grow. Because when innovation meets smart policy, everyone wins. And if we get this right? We’re not just keeping up with the future, we’re building it.
