Fun Fact for Wyomingites: The Northern Lights are lighting up the Cowboy State tonight!

Perfect conditions have aligned to give Wyomingites a rare front-row seat to the aurora borealis—right from their own backyards. While southern Wyoming may have slightly better viewing, the entire state should have a shot at catching the show.

For the best chance, look north between 11:00 p.m. Tuesday and 3:00 a.m. Wednesday—and don’t forget your phone! The lights can be tricky to spot with the naked eye, but your camera may pick up the magic even better.

Enjoy the wonder, Wyoming. Nature’s putting on one spectacular show tonight!
