Wyoming Backs Nuclear Innovation: New Poll Shows Support for Microreactor Factory in Natrona County

A new poll conducted by Cygnal, the gold standard in Wyoming political and public sentiment research, reveals that nearly 70% of Natrona County voters are supportive or neutral toward Radiant’s proposed microreactor manufacturing facility, a strong signal that Wyoming communities are ready to lead the next era of American energy.

Radiant’s planned facility would manufacture the Kaleidos microreactor, a portable advanced nuclear system designed to power remote communities, military bases, and essential infrastructure with clean, resilient energy. The company continues to work with local leaders as it considers Natrona County as the site for its first U.S. factory.

WY It Matters

This show of public support aligns with broader momentum in Wyoming’s nuclear landscape. Between Radiant’s proposed microreactor facility and the advanced Natrium reactor under development in Kemmerer, Wyoming is poised to lead the next era of energy innovation.
